Well, there is a ton of stuff going on. I hardly know where to begin!

As 2012 comes to a close, so does Weirdo Wednesday Supper Club. I have decided to end the show in it’s weekly format after three consecutive years. (December 26th will be the final show) It is a bittersweet parting, but I’m just clearing room for new adventures! The show will continue on quarterly, and it will be bigger and even more over the top. Onward and upward! To stay involved with the final shows and to find out about the new ones click here.

December 18th will be my first of many radio spots as a part of the new show on 89.3 KCUR called “90 Mile View”. The show will feature a handful of people whose lives are dramatically different from the average NPR listener. It’s a part of their existing show, Up To Date. I have already done a video shoot for their website, and the preliminary interviews are underway. The show plans to keep up with me for the next two years! Pretty fun stuff! Stream it live or listen to the archives here.

Music! I have a new project that will debut in the new year. It’s called Rum Doxy, and I’m playing drums again! Yay! Super fun. I’ve also decided to be a more frequent member of The Silver Maggies. There will be a new recording released in January, and you can expect to see me wielding a guitar and singing some songs with those boys. I also plan on touring quite a bit in 2013, solo and with some friends and collaborators. If you would like me to come to your town, feel free to drop me a line and let’s work it out. I love to make new friends. Check out some of my solo work, and let’s book some shows!

I have been crafting like a mad woman! Lots of goodies for the holidays and beyond. My cassette wallets are selling like hotcakes. I can’t seem to make them fast enough. My holiday ornaments (made from LP vinyl) are a big hit too. I also make special orders, so be sure to ask me about it.

I recently had my first show at a comedy club, and I loved it! Watch out! I plan on doing quite a bit more of it in the next year. I’ll be sure to post any and all details as they come!

I will also start teaching instrument building workshops in early 2013. I’m looking forward to working with a new group of students and all of the adventures that will bring. More to come…
